Local Codex Prompt Audit
Prompt Roaster
One command reads your Codex sessions, asks your existing Codex login for the roast, and turns the useful part into a shareable image.
curl -fsSL https://prompt-roaster.pages.dev/install.sh | bash
$ prompt-roaster
How it works
The installer drops a single Python CLI into ~/.local/bin. By default, the CLI uses your logged-in Codex credentials, scans local Codex session files, and prints the roast in the terminal.
- 01Run
prompt-roasterfor the terminal version. - 02Run
prompt-roaster --tweetwhen you want a preloaded share page. - 03This page creates a unique preview link, so X can render the card as the link image without media upload access.
Hall of fame
Auto-sync uses X search when configured. Paste the X post URL if it has not appeared yet.
No public posts embedded yet. The first clean roast gets the wall.
X web intent cannot upload browser-generated media. Prompt Roaster uses a unique preview URL with server-rendered card metadata, so X can show the generated card as the link preview.
